Cuban Black Bean Soup
Recepie Ingredients:

1 medium onion, chopped (about 2/3 cup)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
2 Tbsp. oil
3 cans (16 oz. each) black beans, undrained, divided
One can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth, divided
One jar (16 oz.) TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Thick ‘N Chunky Salsa
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE’S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream


cook and stirr onion, garlic and cumin in oil over medium heat in large saucepan 3 min. Place 1 can of the undrained beans and half the broth in blender or kitchen appliance container; cover. Blend until pureed. Add to ingredients in saucepan. Reepeat with 2nd can of undrained beans and remaining broth. Add beans and salsa to saucepan mixture; mix well.

BRING to a boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 min., stirring occasionally. Ladle soup into serving bowls. Drizzle each serving with 1 Tbsp. sour cream.

Cuban Sandwich
Recepie Ingredients:

4 individual Cuban bread loaves
4 tablespoons butter
1 pound shaved roasted pork
1 pound shaved smoked ham
1/2 pound sliced Swiss cheese
1 cup sliced dill pickles


Preheat the griddle. Slice the bread loaves in half. Smear the butter on both sides of each loaf of bread. Made each sandwich with the roasted pork, ham, cheese and pickles.

Place the sandwiches on the hot griddle and place a waffle iron on top of the sandwiches to flatten the sandwich. Griddle the sandwiches for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Slice the sandwich in half and serve.
